Reporting to a Senior Vice President, this role will be responsible for managing key retail accounts across the UK and delivering commercial growth across a portfolio of beauty and fragrance brands. The successful candidate will own retailer relationships, drive sales performance, develop strategic growth plans and work cross-functionally with internal teams including Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and Brand Management to deliver business objectives.
Responsibilities- Manage and develop relationships with key UK retail partners.
- Deliver sales, profit and distribution targets across assigned accounts.
- Build and execute strategic account growth plans aligned with retailer objectives.
- Negotiate annual business plans, promotional activity and commercial agreements.
- Analyse sales performance and provide recommendations to drive growth.
- Create and manage accurate sales forecasts, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure effective stock management and product availability.
- Work closely with trade marketing teams to maximise promotional effectiveness and ROI.
- Track and evaluate sales and marketing performance against objectives.
- Support product launches and promotional activity across retail partners.
- Optimise brand visibility and execution across retailer websites and digital platforms.
- Maintain accurate account administration including pricing, forecasting, retailer systems and promotional documentation.
- Present business performance updates and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
- Monitor market activity, competitor performance and emerging industry trends.
- Build strong internal and external partnerships to support long-term commercial success.
- Experience managing major retail or key accounts within beauty, fragrance or FMCG sectors.
- Strong commercial, negotiation and account management capabilities.
- Proven ability to drive sales growth and build strategic customer relationships.
- Experience managing forecasts, budgets and commercial performance metrics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Confident working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Commercially minded with a strong customer-focused approach.
- Passion for beauty, fragrance and consumer brands.
- Able to work independently whilst contributing effectively as part of a wider team.
- Adaptable, proactive and able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
