Are you an experienced Protection Adviser looking for quality leads, genuine earning potential and the freedom to focus on advising clients rather than constantly sourcing business?
We're partnering exclusively with a growing independent, whole-of-market mortgage brokerage that's investing heavily in its protection offering. Due to continued growth, they're looking for an experienced Protection Adviser to join the team on either an employed or self-employed basis.
This is an opportunity to work with an established client base and multiple lead sources, helping clients protect what matters most while building a highly rewarding income.
What you'll be doingYou’ll provide expert advice across a full range of protection products, including:
- Life Insurance
- Critical Illness Cover
- Income Protection
- Family Income Benefit
Business will come from a variety of established lead sources, including:
- Referrals from mortgage advisers
- Existing clients requiring protection reviews
- Customers whose previous policies have lapsed
- Mortgage clients who haven't yet arranged protection
You’ll also build lasting client relationships, deliver outstanding customer outcomes and maximise every opportunity to provide tailored protection advice.
What we’re looking for- At least 2 years’ experience as a Protection Adviser
- Proven experience arranging protection across a panel of insurers
- Strong knowledge of Life Insurance, Critical Illness Cover, Income Protection and Family Income Benefit
- A consistent track record of converting opportunities into business
- Ideally, experience working alongside mortgage brokers or estate agency introducers
- Comfortable managing both inbound enquiries and proactive outbound client engagement
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
- Competitive basic salary from £30,000+ (depending on experience)
