Senior Sales & Events Manager — Iconic London Venue £40,000 – £45,000 + Profit Share | Full Time, Permanent | London
CoCo Group are partnering with one of London's most exciting and culturally significant venue operators to find a driven, commercially sharp Senior Sales & Events Manager to take ownership of sales performance at one of the capital's most breathtaking event spaces.
Our client operates a stunning, historically significant London venue that has become a sought-after destination for some of the most prestigious events in the city. From glittering Awards Ceremonies and elegant Gala Dinners to high-profile Fashion Shows and coveted Film & TV location projects, and much more besides. This space attracts an exceptional calibre of client and event. It sits within a wider portfolio of world-class venues, making this an opportunity to join a business with genuine pedigree and serious ambition.
The RoleBased on-site and reporting into the Senior Sales leadership team, you'll lead the day-to-day sales operation, converting enquiries, driving proactive outreach, managing key client relationships and executing a sales strategy built for growth. You'll be the person who owns the numbers, knows the market, and has the energy and commercial intelligence to make things happen.
This isn't a passive account management role. You'll be out on site visits, in negotiations, at networking events, and constantly identifying new opportunities across corporate, private and experiential markets.
What You'll Be Doing- Leading on enquiry handling and conversion across all event types
- Driving proactive business development and identifying new markets
- Managing relationships with clients, agencies and key stakeholders
- Working with marketing teams to deliver evidence-based promotional strategies
- Owning sales targets, KPIs, forecasting and P&L reporting
- Ensuring a seamless handover from sales to operations
- Managing and mentoring junior sales team members
- Using CRM tools (Hub Spot, Event Works) to keep data clean and pipelines healthy
- At least 4 years in a venue or event sales environment
- A strong track record of hitting targets and negotiating high-value contracts
- Solid knowledge of the London venue market and venue-finding agency landscape
- Experience managing sales budgets, P&Ls and financial reporting
- Confident working across all levels - from clients to internal stakeholders
- Calm under pressure, proactive by nature, and genuinely positive
- Proficient in Mac, G-Suite and Microsoft Office; CRM experience a bonus
