The RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join a dynamic and entrepreneurial company. This role would suit someone who has a can-do attitude and a desire to build a business development career within Financial Services.
The Business Development Executive will be confident on the telephone to sell the Investment Management company services and establishing strong relationships with financial advisors.
The Business Development Executive will converse with financial advisers and will regularly undertake product training in order to maintain a high level of investment product knowledge.
The Business Development Executive will collaborate with the Business Development Manager and develop a selection of developmental accounts to actively build relationships with financial advisers.
The Business Development Executive will upsell to existing clients and have meetings to discuss the progress and general performance of the firm’s financial adviser clients and will provide exceptional service to clients.
The Business Development Executive will share and manage a list of clients with The Business Development Manager and will be the first point of contact for some.
The CandidateAt least 1 – 2 years’ experience within Financial Services, ideally within a Business Development or Telesales capacity is favourable – keen to develop a career within Sales or Business Development.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, confident to pick up the phone and an excellent ability to build strong relationships with financial advisers.
A proactive attitude, ‘can do’ mentality and good character is essential.
Ability to respond appropriately, accurately and relevantly to questions, challenges from IFAs.
Resilience in order to manage conflicting priorities and demands, ambiguity, high work load, rejection and other sources of pressure.
Accuracy, thoroughness and attention to detail in order to maintain the highest levels of service
