Position: Regional Account Manager (North Shockwave IVL

Regional Account Manager – Shockwave Medical Inc.

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting a Regional Account Manager for Shockwave Medical Inc., located preferably in the North London area. The role is part of the Med Tech Sales function and focuses on clinical support and management of the Shockwave Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) portfolio across 3 specialties:
Interventional Cardiology, Interventional Radiology and Vascular Surgery.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Develop an expert level knowledge of Shockwave IVL and related disease area, including competing devices.
  • Understand and translate clinical data into physician and patient benefit, ensuring proper use of IVL.
  • Collaborate with NHS and other partners to facilitate access to new technologies.
  • Build and execute challenging territory business plans and provide regular progress reports via the Quarterly Business Review process.
  • Assist the Regional Sales Manager and Marketing teams with annual forecasts and business goals.
  • Work closely with cross‑functional teams (Marketing, Customer Service, Medical Affairs, etc.) to deliver best customer experience.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, maintain a safe and compliant work environment, and submit detailed monthly expense reports.

Requirements:

  • Native or Bilingual English; other European languages are a plus.
  • Experience in the medical device market, especially Interventional Cardiology, Interventional Radiology or Vascular Surgery.
  • Knowledge of the NHS and ability to facilitate access to new technologies.
  • Strong commercial track record and proven problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Based in or close to the territory with willingness to spend 90%+ of time in accounts.
