As the role develops, you will spend more time on the road meeting customers, attending exhibitions and trade events, and promoting our range of storage and container products across multiple sectors. This role would suit someone who genuinely enjoys the challenge of new business sales, is not discouraged by rejection, and has the determination to keep pushing until results are achieved.
Key Responsibilities Identify and generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting. Research target markets and build a pipeline of potential customers. Conduct high volumes of outbound B2B calls to introduce products and services. Qualify leads and arrange meetings with prospective clients. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers across various industries. Prepare quotations and proposals, working closely with internal teams where required.
Manage opportunities through the entire sales cycle from initial contact to close. Attend customer meetings, site visits, exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events. Represent the business professionally and positively at all times. Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs. Keep CRM systems updated with accurate customer and pipeline information. Identify opportunities for upselling and repeat business. What We're Looking For Essential Experience Proven experience in a B2B sales or business development role .
Experience generating new business through outbound prospecting and cold calling. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and manage your own sales pipeline. Full UK driving licence (for future field-based requirements). Personal Attributes We are looking for someone who:
