LONDON — HYBRID-BASED

APAC Travel Designer job in London within the luxury travel industry, offering a great basic plus uncapped commission with realistic first-year earnings of £60,000–£100,000+. This is a senior, sales-driven, client-facing role designing bespoke journeys across Asia Pacific, managing a high-value pipeline from enquiry through to booking and repeat business.

Do you thrive in a target-driven sales role where building genuine relationships is just as important as hitting your numbers, and are you ready to bring senior-level experience to a high-value client pipeline?

Do you have excellent personal travel experience through the APAC region?

Are you confident picking up the phone, building trust quickly, and guiding clients towards the best decisions for their trip?

And importantly, do you enjoy the mix of high-touch client care and sharp commercial focus that comes with managing a busy sales pipeline?

Our client is a luxury travel specialist known for designing highly personalised, bespoke journeys across Asia Pacific, built around authentic experiences and responsible travel practices. They have built a strong reputation for combining destination expertise with a genuinely client‑first approach, creating trips that go well beyond the ordinary.

They are now looking for a Travel Designer to join their Asia Pacific team, taking ownership of a high-value client pipeline from first enquiry through to booking and beyond — bringing seasoned destination expertise, sales confidence and a genuine talent for relationship‑building to every conversation.

The Role

In this role, you will manage a high-value client pipeline for luxury Asia Pacific travel, combining seasoned destination expertise with a confident, consultative sales approach.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a high‑contact sales pipeline, consistently meeting commercial and conversion targets
  • Speak directly with clients by phone and video to understand their travel needs and preferences
  • Guide clients towards the best decisions, introducing premium options and unique experiences
  • Curate bespoke itineraries across Asia Pacific, pairing standout hotels with authentic, responsible travel experiences
  • Maintain contact with past clients between trips to build long‑term loyalty and repeat business
  • Keep CRM records accurate and up to date, including bookings, invoicing and client details
  • Partner with post‑sales teams to resolve client feedback quickly, before, during and after travel
  • Collaborate with your regional team and wider global colleagues to share destination insight
  • Take part in annual familiarisation trips to keep destination knowledge current
Qualifications
  • 5+ years' experience in travel sales or a high‑contact, relationship‑driven sales role
  • Strong first‑hand travel knowledge of Asia Pacific and a genuine interest in the region
  • Confident using destination knowledge to inspire clients and close sales
  • A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding commercial sales targets
  • Comfortable working towards uncapped commission and clear performance metrics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage a multi‑platform workflow efficiently
Benefits
  • Uncapped commission — realistic first‑year earnings of £60,000–£100,000+, with no cap for top performers
  • Structured 6‑month sales training programme, plus ongoing support from your manager and L&D team
  • Private medical insurance (Bupa) for all UK‑based employees
  • Annual familiarisation trips to build your destination expertise
