About the Role
The Crowd is delighted to be partnering with an international luxury interiors brand, renowned for its beautifully crafted textiles, wallpapers, and wall coverings. Our client is seeking an Area Sales Executive to join their dynamic and collaborative team. Predominantly field-based, this role will be supported from their London showroom.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in expanding the brand’s presence across Greater London. Working closely with the showroom team, you will build and nurture relationships with interior designers, architects, specifiers, and other design professionals, driving new business through targeted account development, client visits, presentations, and networking. Alongside developing new opportunities, you will manage existing client relationships, respond to sales enquiries, coordinate project follow-up, and deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales journey.
The ideal candidate is commercially minded, proactive, and passionate about interiors, with excellent relationship-building skills and a drive to succeed. Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain relationships with interior designers, architects, and specifiers across Greater London
- Develop new business opportunities while nurturing existing client accounts
- Deliver product presentations, showroom appointments, and client meetings
- Increase brand awareness and drive product specification
- Represent the business at industry events, networking opportunities, and design exhibitions
- Collaborate with the showroom team to support project delivery and client development
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain regular follow-up throughout the sales process
- Previous sales experience within interiors, textiles, wall coverings, furniture, or a related design-led industry
- Existing network within the architecture and interior design community is highly advantageous
- Strong business development and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and confident working independently in a field-based role
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills
- Commercially minded with a proactive, target-driven approach
- Passion for interiors, design, and the built environment
- Full UK driving licence required
