Account Manager
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager at Slick, a Day Smart company, combining sales and education. You will support customers as they become active users, build long‑term relationships, and help them explore the product to maximize value.

Salary- Base salary £25‑35k with OTE additional £13k (pay varies by experience, education, certifications, internal equity, etc.)
- Once a month to London office for Commercial Meetings
- Quarterly to London office for Quarterly Business Review
- Relationships: Build trust and position yourself as a business and industry expert.
- Training & retention: Deliver onboarding and training to maximize value; drive retention.
- Existing Features & Usage: Understand client goals, educate, and drive adoption of current features.
- New Features: Promote awareness and train customers on new roadmap launches.
- Payment Sales: Upsell POS payments to current customers.
- Churn management: Proactively identify at‑risk accounts, minimize churn through training and support; forward feature needs to Product Team.
- Product expert: Master product features, articulate benefits, build case studies, and explain business value.
- Salon expert: Understand market trends and advise salons on growth with Slick.
- Voice of the customer: Represent customers in product discussions; understand wants and why.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with Support, Management, and Product to improve offerings.
- Lead measures: Number of calls / meetings
- Lag measures: Engagement of new customers, Net New Payments GMV, Churn
- Quality of Admin: Quality of data in CRM
- Account Management: Experience managing customers in‑person or over the phone; build rapport and trust.
- Education & training: Deliver training sessions; walk users through products.
- Industry: Preferably hair & beauty industry experience; passion for industry trends; highly motivated.
- Product passion: Get to know our product, confident in selling benefits; training provided.
- Analytical: Use data to analyze opportunities and risks.
- Gift of the gab: Articulate speaker, handle objections, open opportunities.
- Customer‑focus: Extra mile to support customers.
- Outbound Confidence: Comfortable making outbound calls; 80% time on salon calls.
- Resilience: Handle rejections and pursue leads.
