S-Med Ltd are looking for a Clinical Application, Sales and Support Specialist
to join our team to promote, sell and support our diagnostic equipment within the UK market.
This role will be covering the South of England including London.
The products include the full range of Sleep Diagnostic Equipment sold by S-Med including the complete range of products manufactured by SOMNO
medics in Germany.
Details:
1) Job entails from time to time that the Clinical Application, Sales and Support Specialist will spend time away from home. This will be to provide training to staff in sleep labs where we have supplied equipment, to attend congresses and meetings, to attend training courses at the headquarters.
2) All expenses for these trips will be reimbursed by the company, including mileage for the use of your own vehicle, rail or air travel, hotel and meals while away from home.
A car allowance is provided as part of this role.
Clinical Application & Training
- Provide pre- and post-sales clinical training and product demonstrations to clinicians and hospital staff.
- Customise clinical application workflows to meet the specific needs of healthcare facilities.
- Support product evaluations, installations, and go-lives at customer sites.
- Act as a subject matter expert on clinical functionality and best practices.
- Assist the sales team with product positioning, value proposition delivery, and technical presentations.
- Contacting potential new customers to promote our products and demonstrating equipment to potential customers with the aim of sales.
- Participate in sales meetings, trade shows, and workshops to support business development.
- Contacting existing customers on a regular basis to ensure that their equipment is working correctly and to promote any new products or items to them
- Help identify customer needs and provide feedback for solution customisation.
- Being available to assist customers with training or questions relating to the equipment they are currently using
- Serve as a key contact for ongoing clinical support and troubleshooting in your area.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing questions, concerns, or technical issues promptly.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in hospitals and clinics.
- Gather user feedback and clinical data to assist with continuous product improvement.
- 3+ years of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
- Experience with medical devices, diagnostic systems, or clinical software
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel up to 40–70% (depending on territory)
- Sales experience is a strong asset, but not mandatory
- Clinical expertise with ability to translate complex technology into practical usage
- Confidence in public speaking and customer engagement
- Team-oriented with a proactive, self-starter mindset
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Prior experience in a customer/patient-facing or field application specialist role
- Tech-savvy with knowledge of hardware, software Installation and maintaining network equipment infrastructure
- Ideally located in or around Oxfordshire
