Senior Asia Pacific Travel Designer

Luxury Private Travel Company are looking for an experienced candidate with a great love and extensive knowledge of the Asia Pacific region to join their friendly team of travel enthusiasts. You will be empathetic and inquisitive, harnessing these qualities to form a deep understanding of your customers and craft highly personalised holidays to countries such as Nepal, Fiji, Thailand, China, Sri Lanka, Australia, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Laos, French Polynesia, New Zealand, Maldives, Cambodia, Borneo, South Korea, Vietnam, India, Bali.

First 6 months guaranteed minimum earnings of £47,000 (pa)

Basic Salary: £34,000 plus an industry-leading commission structure earning you £60,000 - £100,000 (first 6 months includes a commission top‑up to ensure you earn a minimum of £47,000 p.a., getting you used to new systems, processes, and clients).

Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in luxury tailor‑made tour operations (regional specialisation not required).
  • Deep interest and on‑the‑ground personal experience exploring the Asia Pacific region.
  • Commitment to positive‑impact, responsible, sustainable travel.

  • Good listener and empathetic communicator with colleagues and customers.

The role
  • Guest communication via video call, email and telephone; cultivating relationships and achieving a deep understanding and rapport with the client.
  • Curation of bespoke travel itineraries that immerse the client in the destination while following responsible travel practices.
  • Competently close sales and manage pipeline, working effectively with the CRM and company systems and best practices.
  • Deal with any operational situations in collaboration with the wider team and external partners at the destinations.
  • Assist the marketing team with the production of editorial content.
  • Build long‑lasting, caring relationships with suppliers on the ground at the destinations.
  • Source exciting new travel products.
  • Travel extensively in Asia and Australasia, and return to educate colleagues on the destinations visited.
Working Hours

Monday – Friday. 10am – 6pm. 1 day per week 12pm – 8pm. 3 days in the office, 2 from home. London.
