The Boot and Blade earned skaters' trust the hard way — proper fittings, honest advice, kit that's right for the skater, not the stockroom. Skater-first, never sales-first. That's the hard part, and it's done.

Now we build the rest. The brand is loved; what it needs is someone to own the commercial engine underneath it and turn a loyal audience into a business that thrives. This is a partner-track role for the person who does exactly that.

• The commercial engine — merchandising, pricing, promotion, ecommerce growth. The calls on what we stock, what we push, and how the brand's reach becomes revenue. You own the number.
• Camps and events, end-to-end — starting with our next camp. The commercial and logistics side, run in the room, without the wheels coming off.
• Trade relationships — suppliers, brands, and event partners. (Customer relationships stay in-house — the fittings and the advice are the craft the brand is built on.)

You won't start from scratch. The execution layer — systems, models, copy, reporting — is already handled by the tooling we run. Your job is the judgment on top: what to bet on, what to charge, what to build next.

• Real commercial instinct — retail, ecommerce, or events — with a track record to show it. You know which moves to make and why.
• A self-starter who thrives in early-stage chaos. No manager, no playbook — you see what needs doing and drive it. This matters more than anything else on the list.
• Hands‑on and scrappy. As comfortable in the graft as the strategy.
• You don't have to skate — but you have to care about getting it right for those who do, and you want ownership, not just a wage.
