Sales Manager

Exciting opportunity for a personable and proactive Sales Manager to join this luxury hotel based in Canary Wharf, London.

As Sales Manager you will be responsible for pro-actively nurturing and converting new business covering:
Rooms;
Food and beverage;
Private Events and Exclusive hire.

Key duties will include:

• Proactively uncover new prospects for the Hotel and maximise conversion of business in line with the hotel's budgetary goals.
• Organise and plan client meetings, fam trips, site inspections, sales blitzes, mailings, giveaways, and other new creative activities to establish and maintain a healthy client relationship and generate business.
• Lead, train, motivate, and mentor a sales team of three, fostering a high-performance culture that achieves sales targets and objectives.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, adapting sales strategies accordingly.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous hotel sales experience, ideally within luxury or boutique hospitality.
• Proven success in generating new business and managing key accounts.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Strong knowledge of the London corporate, agency and events market.
• Confidence networking and representing the brand at industry events.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent organisational and CRM management skills.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with a desire to exceed targets.
