Director of Sales
Our client is a UK flexible generation and energy storage platform with a multi-gigawatt development pipeline spanning battery storage, dispatchable thermal assets and other flexibility technologies. As the business enters its next phase of growth, it's creating a Head of Commercial role to lead revenue strategy and optimisation across the portfolio. This is a senior, hands-on position covering wholesale market participation, Capacity Market strategy, ancillary services and structured offtake, and it sits right at the point where power markets meet trading and commercial decision-making.
TheCompany
Our client operates across the UK's flexible power sector, pairing storage with dispatchable generation to help balance a grid that leans more on renewables every year. The business is growing quickly and building out its in-house trading and commercial capability as it does, so this role carries real influence over how that function takes shape. It's a commercially minded, entrepreneurial setting where analytical rigour and clear decision-making count for more than hierarchy.
