Your mission

Description
For our London locations we are looking for a full time Events Associate (Sales). This is a new role designed to take ownership of enquiry management, proactive lead generation, and conversion across our event spaces, to support our growing events business. In addition to London, you'll respond to inbound enquiries from our Berlin portfolio and build a working relationship with the Berlin Community team.
Hospitality is at the heart of what we do, and while this is a sales-first role, an ideal candidate will bring a genuine understanding of hospitality and a customer-centric mindset to every enquiry and client relationship. A willingness to pick up the phone, chase a lead, and think commercially is essential, alongside brilliant attention to detail so nothing falls through the cracks between a confirmed event and a client's final details being handed over to the rest of the team.

The role also includes hands-on delivery, so your sales conversations stay grounded in the high-quality experiences we can genuinely deliver on the day. An exceptional Events Associate (Sales) can manage a live pipeline across multiple sites at once, balancing new enquiries, proactive outreach, and repeat business simultaneously, while also handling the expectations of multiple organisers, vendors, and internal teams without losing sight of any one relationship.

Strong communication (written, verbal and listening), interpersonal skills and a natural commercial instinct combined with a strong sense of empathy are a must. A hospitality, sales or customer service background is preferred, and attention to detail is essential for making sure clients’ needs and company standards are met. The right attitude and passion for sales and events is just as important as experience in this entry level position.

You should show a willingness to go the extra mile when required and consistently demonstrate a positive attitude. You will receive plenty of incredible opportunities for growth, learning and development.

Your profile

Role specifics
As an Events Associate (Sales), you will have cross functional responsibilities and be responsible for the top of the events funnel, converting interest into confirmed, well-briefed bookings. You will work closely with the Events Manager, other Events Associates and departments to ensure a seamless handover from sale to execution including with delivery where needed. You will support the events manager in delivering the events strategy for the business and hitting our overall annual targets.

  • Deliver a 5
    * Experience
    - Delivery is a genuine part of this role, not an afterthought to sales. When you're on-site, from setup through to the event itself, you bring the same hospitality and customer-centric mindset by managing client expectations, coordinating with suppliers, and resolving anything that arises so the experience matches what was promised during the sales process. This hands-on grounding is what keeps your sales conversations credible and your pipeline built on what the team can genuinely deliver.
  • Respond and Qualify - Respond to all new enquiries within our service level agreement, across our enquiry channels and agency/broker platforms, qualifying each one to understand the client's event needs and guide them toward the right space and package.
  • Generate Demand - Proactively generate new leads through local outreach, Linked In and social activity, retargeting campaigns, and referral schemes, while helping to maintain relationships with our agency and broker platforms to keep them updated on availability and offers, rather than relying solely on inbound enquiries.
  • Client Conversations and Upselling - Speak with prospective clients by phone or in person, representing the Techspace brand at every touchpoint, to understand their requirements in depth, address questions or concerns, and identify opportunities to upsell catering, AV, and add-on services that maximise revenue per booking. You'll also think creatively about the spaces on offer, from our dedicated event venues to meeting rooms and other flexible areas, to find the right fit for a client's brief and budget.
