About the Role
We are looking for an exceptional Regional Sales Manager to lead and drive profitable, sustainable growth across one of the most strategically important sectors of the London On-Trade.
This role focuses on Premium Restaurants, Members’ Clubs, Luxury and Five‑Star Hotels
, as well as identifying and partnering with emerging concepts that have the potential to scale nationally. You’ll play a key role in shaping early‑stage partnerships and positioning us as a preferred supplier from the outset.
As part of the Sales Leadership Team
, you will work closely with the Head of Sales London to develop and execute innovative sales strategies, bringing them to life across this prestigious segment.
- Lead, inspire, and develop a team of Sales Account Managers within a fast‑growing London sector
- Own and deliver both team and personal sales budgets
, ensuring profitable growth - Set clear annual sales targets and strategic plans for the region
- Drive new business by identifying commercially viable, sustainable opportunities
- Oversee pipeline management, lead generation, and performance tracking
- Ensure seamless onboarding of new business, including support agreements and pricing structures
- Champion key agency wine brands across the Independent On and Off Trade
- Act as a brand ambassador
, building a strong presence within London’s premium hospitality scene - Collaborate cross‑functionally with Purchasing, Marketing, Finance and Credit Control to resolve customer issues and optimise performance
- Spend the majority of your time in trade
, including coaching and developing your team - Set clear KPIs and conduct performance and development reviews
- Foster a culture of positivity, accountability, and high performance
- Proven track record within the wine industry and On‑Trade environment
- Inspirational leader with excellent coaching and development skills
- Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and numeracy
- Data‑driven with advanced MS Office skills
- Commercially savvy with experience handling agency brands
- Strong sales management experience with a collaborative leadership style
- Experience working in London’s hospitality market
- Commercially astute with experience managing tenders and driving profitability
This is a unique opportunity to shape a high‑profile, prestige segment of the London market, working with some of the most exciting venues and emerging concepts in hospitality. You will have the autonomy to lead, innovate, and make a real commercial impact.
Working PatternThis is a full‑time role, working 37.5 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday between 9:00 am and 5:30 pm. However, given the nature of our clients in the hospitality sector, flexibility is essential — evening and occasional weekend work will be required to support customer needs, events, and tastings. Some activities may also involve international travel, so a valid passport is necessary.
WorkLocation
You will be field based and need to live within commuting distance of central London. Our head office is based in central London and there will be times when you are also expected to work from there, travel nationwide, or internationally.

3 years sales and managerial experience in the wine industry and qualified to WSET Level 3 or above.
