Luxury Ocean & Expedition Cruise Consultant Duties:

* Serve as the cornerstone of the client experience, combining deep product expertise with a high-touch, personalised approach to travel planning. This is not a transactional sales role, it’s a consultative, relationship-driven position where your ability to understand client preferences, anticipate needs, and curate exceptional cruise holidays will define your success.

* Ensuring every detail - from itinerary selection and restaurant reservations to booking forms and online check-ins is handled with precision and care.

* Offering a seamless, high-touch experience tailored to each client’s preferences.

* Building long-term relationships, offering personalised cruise recommendations and adding thoughtful touches that reflect their clients’ tastes.

* Take part in in generating ideas to improve the client experience and enhance how our client works.

* Guiding clients through every stage of their cruise booking journey, from initial enquiry to post-departure follow-up.

* Take part in exclusive client events designed to deepen relationships, enhance loyalty, and strengthen your personal connection with each client.

* Build long-term relationships by understanding client preferences, travel history, and lifestyle aspirations.

* Stay continually informed on cruise line developments, ship launches, exclusive offers, and emerging industry trends across Luxury Ocean, Expedition, and Specialist segments.

Luxury Ocean & Expedition Cruise Consultant – Essential Requirements:

* Luxury Ocean & Expedition Cruises sales experience is essential within an established travel company with strong expedition cruise knowledge.

* Record of converting enquiries into bookings and achieving or surpassing sales targets.

* In-depth knowledge of cruise products, including familiarity with a wide range of cruise lines, ship styles, itineraries, and onboard offerings - particularly within the luxury, expedition, and niche sectors.

* Someone who thrives in a fast-moving, imaginative environment where client experience is everything.

* Ability to foster long-term connections and make personalised recommendations to clients.

* Confident in navigating a wide range of cruise products - from luxury ocean liners to expedition vessels and specialist cruises - and skilled at matching these to the unique desires of each client.
