Sales Consultant; Solar & Renewable energy

Position: Sales Consultant (Solar & Renewable energy)
Our client based in the outskirts for Maidstone are looking to recruit a Solar Sales Consultant. They are looking for a confident and commercially driven Sales Consultant to join their growing renewable energy business. They generate a strong volume of qualified enquiries and are looking for someone who can attend customer appointments, understand their requirements, design appropriate solar and battery solutions and, most importantly, convert opportunities into sales.

This is not a cold-calling or door-to-door sales role. Leads and customer enquiries are provided.

The Role
· Attend pre-arranged residential and commercial customer appointments
· Assess customer requirements and recommend suitable solar PV and battery storage solutions
· Produce system designs, quotations and proposals using solar design software
· Present solutions clearly and confidently to customers
· Follow up quotations and enquiries to maximise conversion rates
· Maintain accurate customer and sales information within the company CRM
· Work closely with their technical, office and installation teams
· Manage working hours flexibly around customer appointments, including occasional evening or weekend appointments where required

The Ideal Candidate They are looking for someone with:
· Previous experience in solar, renewable energy, construction, or home- improvement sales
· A proven track record of successfully closing sales.
· Strong face-to-face communication and presentation skills.
· Experience using solar design/proposal software or the ability to quickly learn new systems.
· Good IT and organisational skills.
· A professional and ethical approach to selling.
· The ability to manage appointments and follow-ups independently.
· Direct solar experience would be highly advantageous, but they will consider candidates from construction, roofing, electrical, home-improvement or other relevant technical sales backgrounds. Package £35,000 basic salary  uncapped commission Plus:
