Media Sales Executive

London | Office Based (hybrid after probation) | Competitive salary  commission Do you have a natural flair for sales and an interest in media? Looking for a role where you can build new business and work across some of the UK's biggest national newspapers? We're working with an established and growing media business looking for a Media Sales Executive to join its national press team.

You'll be selling advertising, branded content and digital campaigns across a portfolio of leading UK newspaper titles, working across exciting themes including travel, food, health & fitness, homes & gardens, finance and seasonal content. What's the role? This is a hands-on sales role, with a strong focus on new business. You'll be responsible for identifying prospects, building relationships with senior decision-makers and taking opportunities from that first conversation through to close.

You'll also:
Sell advertising, branded content and advertorials across print and digital Develop new business and build long-term client relationships Work towards and exceed monthly sales targets Create engaging sales presentations and proposals Develop commercially funded digital campaigns Spot new opportunities across the print and digital media landscape Keep up to date with market trends and competitor activity Work closely with internal teams to deliver successful campaigns What are we looking for?

We're looking for someone who is commercial, ambitious and confident picking up the phone. You'll ideally have:
Experience in sales, ideally within media or publishing A proven track record of hitting or exceeding targets Experience generating your own leads and developing new business Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong numerical and organisational skills A good understanding of the print media landscape The ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines A proactive, resilient and positive approach Plenty of energy and a genuine desire to win new business Print media experience would be great, but we're also open to strong sales professionals looking to move into media.
