Head of Sales - HORECA

Head of Sales - HORECA UK-wide, Hybrid £70,000 - £75,000 per annum  Car/Allowance & Bonus We are working with a leading Food service business operating within the HORECA (Hotel, Restaurant & Catering) sector , as they look to appoint an experienced Head of Sales to lead and develop a high-performing sales function. This is a senior commercial leadership position, responsible for delivering ambitious sales and margin targets across a defined market sector, while building strong customer partnerships and developing a team of Account Managers.

Reporting directly to the Sales Director, this role will suit an experienced sales leader who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on commercial approach and has a strong understanding of selling into HORECA, hospitality, food service or a closely related market.

The Role As Head of Sales, you will take ownership of the commercial strategy for your market, developing plans that drive profitable growth while ensuring the sales team has the capability and direction required to deliver. Key responsibilities will include:
Leading, coaching and developing a team of Account Managers. Taking ownership of annual sales and margin targets across the sector. Developing and executing a strategic sales plan to deliver sustainable, profitable growth. Growing and developing a portfolio of existing customer accounts. Building long-term, collaborative relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Understanding customer needs, commercial objectives and market challenges to identify opportunities for growth.

Developing a detailed understanding of the HORECA market, including customers, competitors, trends and sector-specific requirements. Creating and delivering the annual business plan for the sector. Supporting the team in communicating the value proposition through commercial proposals and presentations. Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and new business growth. About You We are looking for an established sales leader with experience within HORECA, hospitality, food service or a related B2B environment .

You will ideally bring:
Proven experience leading and developing a successful sales team. A strong track record of growing profitable sales across a portfolio of customers. Experience developing and implementing sales strategies and business plans. Strong commercial and numerical capability, with confidence working against sales and margin targets. Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills. The ability to build credibility and influence at all levels, both internally and with customers.

A customer-focused approach and the ability to develop genuine strategic partnerships. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, coach and develop others. What's On Offer?
