GenAI Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Identify engage and develop relationships with AI Native companies AI startups research institutions and enterprises pursuing AI transformation in UK and broader European markets
• Drive revenue growth for Alibaba Clouds MaaS offerings including Qwen (Tongyi) model family PAI platform and GPU computing services
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for AI/ML products tailored to the European market
• Build a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting industry events ecosystem partnerships and referral networks
• Collaborate with solution architects and technical teams to deliver customized proposals and product demonstrations
• Negotiate and close deals managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract signing
• Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to inform product roadmap and localization efforts
• Represent Alibaba Cloud at AI conferences meetups and industry forums across Europe

• At least 5 years of Cloud sales experience and/or 2 years of specific GenAI sales experience
• Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies including large language models generative AI and model training/inference workflows
• Existing network within the AI startup ecosystem or enterprise AI community is highly preferred
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
