Carnevale serves restaurants, pizzerias, hotels, delicatessens, caterers, food processors, and wholesalers across the country. The business continues to expand through strategic acquisitions and partnerships with specialist Italian food, beverage, cheese, cured meat, pasta, and wine companies, while maintaining its strong family values and reputation for excellence.
The Role
We are now looking for a Field Sales Representative to cover the South East of England. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who thrives in a customer-focused environment and has a passion for food and sales.
You could use your own vehicle, or you could be allocated a company vehicle as part of the package.
Location:South East England
South London, Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Surrey, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, (Areas to be discussed)
Working Hours40 hours per week (Average & Flexibility required)
Pay RangeStarting at £40k + (depending on experience) Plus commission.(TB discussed)
Reports toExecutive Manager
Key responsibility:- Generating new Sales
- Building and maintaining customer relationships
- Visiting customers regularly, cold calling
- Creating business opportunities
- Keeping up to date with new business openings in your area
- Keeping up to date on food trends
- Collaborate with other departments to track and resolve delays or out-of-stock items
- Customer relations
- Work with customers and credit control to ensure payment terms
- Attending food supplier days and trade fairs
- A confident individual with a calm and friendly demeanour
- Italian language skills are required.
- Comfortable and proficient with IT systems
- Strong attention to detail
- An effective communicator who enjoys engaging with others
- A genuine interest in, or willingness to learn about, Italian food
- Willingness to be on the road and travel, and attend suppliers' days in the London head office
Experience:
- Previous experience in a sales role is required.
