Senior Business Development Executive

A leading international professional services firm is seeking a Senior Business Development Executive to support growth within its Life Sciences & Healthcare sector on a 15-month fixed-term contract . Based in Bristol or London, with hybrid working. The role will partner closely with senior lawyers and marketing colleagues to drive client development, new business, cross-selling and sector profile.

Responsibilities include:

Managing business development initiatives, pipelines, budgets and performance reporting. Supporting key client accounts, including client mapping and relationship plans. Taking ownership of a key client relationship and supporting wider account activity. Delivering targeted events, campaigns and follow-up activity with a focus on ROI. Producing and repurposing marketing and communications content across multiple channels. Managing pitches, credentials, legal directory and award submissions.

Using revenue, margin and campaign data to identify opportunities and improve performance. Supervising junior team members on selected projects. The successful candidate will bring proven business development or marketing experience within Life Sciences & Healthcare , ideally gained in legal or professional services. They will be highly organised, commercially minded and confident working with senior stakeholders. Strong project management, communication and analytical skills are essential, alongside experience of CRM systems and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

A proactive, creative and client-focused approach, combined with curiosity about the sector and an ability to spot commercial opportunities, will be key to success.
