Sales Operations Manager

Rural location in Surrey (Hybrid Working) Salary: £34,000 to £38,000  Annual Bonus Our client is a growing supplier of premium interior textiles, specialising in luxury fabrics for drapery, upholstery and soft furnishings across both residential and commercial interiors. As part of a small, passionate team, we are seeking an experienced Sales Operations Manager to play a key role in supporting business growth.

This is a varied position combining sales operations, customer relationship management and account support, with opportunities to contribute to marketing initiatives, product development and industry events.

The Role This position is ideal for an organised, commercially minded professional who enjoys taking ownership and working independently. You will be a confident communicator with strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills and a genuine passion for interiors, fabrics and design. You will bring at least three years' experience within the interiors, textiles or a related industry and possess a solid understanding of fabric composition, manufacturing processes and product suitability.

Key Responsibilities Trade Order Management Manage the complete sales order process from enquiry through to delivery. Provide product guidance and technical advice to trade customers. Coordinate stock availability, invoicing and order fulfilment. Customer & Account Management Act as the primary point of contact for trade clients. Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve enquiries efficiently. Build and maintain strong long-term customer relationships.

Sales Operations & Reporting Maintain accurate CRM records and customer data. Produce sales and operational reporting. Support field-based sales activity through administration and coordination. Marketing & Events Assist with digital marketing and promotional activities. Provide input on product development and new collections. Organise and attend key industry exhibitions and trade events. Skills & Experience Essential 3 years' experience within interiors, textiles or a related sector.

Strong understanding of fabric composition, manufacture and application. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly organised with strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, CRM systems and Google Workspace. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A genuine interest in interiors, textiles and design. Desirable Knowledge of FF&E specifications and UK fire regulations.

Experience with digital marketing, email campaigns or social media. Experience organising or attending trade shows and industry events.
