We are looking for a dynamic, confident and customer focused Account Executive who thrives on building relationships face to face. This role is all about understanding customer needs, presenting solutions with clarity and enthusiasm, and turning conversations into long-term partnerships. You’ll represent our brand on the ground—visiting clients, identifying opportunities, and driving revenue through trust, insight, and exceptional service.
Experience of working in a similar organisation or experience of managing customer relationships and accounts is required. By joining Mellcrest, you’ll be given a fantastic opportunity to work in a growing, fast paced, family run company. Responsibilities:
Covering a variety of London accounts and South of England areas including Bournemouth, Portsmouth and Southampton Acting as a representative for the organisation during customer meetings and presentations Reporting and providing feedback to the Sales Director using financial data collected or through analysing business data Developing and implementing strategic sales plans that expand the company’s customer base and solidify its presence Establishing productive and professional relationships with key personnel in the Sales Team Building and promoting healthy, long-lasting customer relations by partnering with them Communicating the Voice of the Customer (VOC) data to the Sales Director Gathering market and customer information to figure out the customer needs Responding to customer queries and resolving their objections to get them to make a purchase Providing customers with detailed and accurate quotations and cost calculations Preparing analysis of customers prior to engagement.
Researching and forecasting sales and developing sales strategies and methods and evaluating their effectiveness Achieving growth and hitting sales targets set by the Sales Director and Head of Sales.
Skills:
Minimum 3-5 years field sales experience Experience in the hospitality sector is preferred but not required Excellent organisation skills Negotiation skills Effective time management skills. Ability to build strong relationships with customers. Excellent communication. Ability to learn and retain product knowledge. Job Specifics & Benefits:
Monday to Friday 09:00am to 17:00pm (No weekends or Bank Holidays) OTE £50K Head Office is based in Frogmore, St Albans. Number of required days in the office to be confirmed and dependent on location of residence.
