Business Development Manager

My customer is a manufacturer of Medical Equipment sold to NHS Hospitals and GPs and is on NHS Supply Chain contract.

We now require an energetic and skilled Business Development Manager for the South East of the UK Including London.

The major focus is the NHS hospitals. As such we are looking for someone who is happy to walk the wards, network, catalogue drop AND have meaningful meetings within Procure men
t,
Project Teams and Major Building Contractor
s working for the hospital. Ideally we want someone who has been involved in Hospital Based "Show and Tell" sessions.

Whilst the products are not medical devices the sales process can still have a clinical slant and are often sold via decision making units that include clinicians and for volume can include adapation from the standard.

• Build meaningful relationships within NHS Hospitals at Ward, Project and Purchasing level
• Build a strong project pipeline of opportunities within a medical equipment category
• Use CRM, Quote to win and close opportunities.
• Represent the business professionally working alongside manufacturing leadtimes

• Experience selling to the NHS Hospital network with contacts in London Hospitals
• Experience building a balanced pipeline in a light capital equipment category
• Living close to the M25.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

This is not a micro-managed role but the territory has been under performing and is on the radar for growth. We want a self starter with energy how knows how to make things happen and can make strategic appointment and visits to NHS customers.
