Business Development Director

Finatal are partnered with a leading software-focused investment platform looking to hire a Business Development Director into their London office. You will sit within a high-performing origination team, and play a key role in sourcing and developing acquisition opportunities from day one. • Identify, research, and qualify software businesses in line with the firm's investment criteria
• Execute outbound prospecting across multiple channels, including email, phone, and industry conferences
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with founders and CEOs of vertical SaaS businesses
• Track outreach activity, pipeline progression, and performance metrics using Salesforce and Outreach
• Develop structured sourcing strategies to consistently generate high‑quality acquisition opportunities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on authentic, two‑way dialogue

• 6–10 years of relevant experience in M&A origination, deal sourcing, or outbound business development
• A strong intellectual curiosity and genuine interest in founder‑led businesses and their
