Junior Sales Development Representative (Junior SDR)

Company: Flourish
Location: London Victoria – Office Based
Salary: £32,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Commission
Job Type: Full Time

About Flourish Flourish is a specialist sales recruitment and training business that helps ambitious, high-growth companies build successful sales teams. We work closely with founders, commercial leaders, and senior decision-makers to help businesses find the talent they need to grow.

As part of the wider Apprentify Group, Flourish offers the benefits of a growing business alongside exposure to a broader commercial network. Our culture is built around teamwork, ambition, continuous learning, and recognising people who want to achieve more.

We're looking for a motivated Junior Sales Development Representative to join our London Victoria team and begin developing the skills needed for a successful career in B2B sales.

The Opportunity

This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who wants to learn sales from the ground up, develop commercial confidence, and progress within a fast-growing business.

As a Junior SDR, you'll work alongside experienced sales professionals who will help you build the foundations of successful business development. Through structured onboarding, practical training, and regular coaching, you'll learn how to identify potential clients, start conversations with decision-makers, and create opportunities for the wider sales team.

You don't need years of sales experience to succeed in this role. We're more interested in your attitude, communication skills, willingness to learn, and determination to achieve your goals.

If you're competitive, curious about business, and excited by the idea of building a career where your performance can influence your earnings and progression, this could be the right opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research businesses and identify potential clients that fit Flourish's target market.
  • Reach out to prospective customers through cold calling, email, Linked In, and other outreach channels.
  • Introduce Flourish's services and explain how we help businesses build stronger sales teams.
  • Start conversations with founders, sales leaders, and other relevant decision-makers.
  • Ask questions to understand prospective clients' business objectives, growth plans, and recruitment needs.
  • Identify suitable opportunities and arrange meetings for the Business Development team.
  • Follow up with prospects professionally and maintain consistent communication.
  • Keep accurate records of calls, emails, conversations, and follow-up activities within the CRM.
  • Learn how to manage a sales pipeline and prioritise daily prospecting activity.
  • Participate in team meetings, call reviews, role-play exercises, and coaching sessions.
  • Work towards agreed activity targets, meeting objectives, and pipeline goals.
  • Take feedback on board and continually improve your sales approach.
Training & Career Progression

We recognise that starting a career in sales can be challenging, which is why we place a strong emphasis on development and support.

From your first day, you'll receive structured onboarding and ongoing guidance to help you build confidence and develop practical sales skills.

Your development will include:

  • Learning the fundamentals of B2B sales and outbound prospecting.
  • Developing confidence in cold calling and speaking with senior stakeholders.
  • Understanding how to research, qualify, and engage prospective clients.
  • Practising objection handling, questioning techniques, and sales conversations.
  • Learning how to use CRM systems and manage a sales pipeline effectively.
  • Receiving regular feedback and coaching from experienced team members.
  • Building the commercial knowledge required to progress into a more senior sales position.

Career path: Junior SDR
- Sales Development Representative
- Business Development Executive
- Further commercial leadership opportunities.

Progression will be based on performance, development, and readiness to take on greater responsibility rather than simply time spent in the role.

Office Environment

This is a five-day-per-week, office-based role in London Victoria.

We believe working together in person gives junior team members the best opportunity to learn quickly, build confidence, and benefit from regular coaching. You'll have the chance to shadow experienced colleagues, practise conversations with the team, and receive feedback throughout the working week.
