Remuneration: £22 per hour (up to £352 per shift)

Shifts:

Average 175-200 hours per month (3-4 shifts per week)

Pension: 3% employer / 5% employee

Marengo is recruiting a professional and reliable Overnight Security and Facilities Officer to join our team. This is a dual‑role position covering two adjacent premium office buildings, requiring both traditional security responsibilities and day‑to‑day facilities support. This lone‑working role covers nights and weekends on a rotational basis, with 12–16 hour shifts. We are looking for self‑motivated individuals with strong initiative, vigilance, and the ability to manage incidents calmly and professionally.

• Monitor CCTV system
• Manage access control
• Conduct regular internal/external patrols
• Respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies
• Provide first aid if required
• Ensure a safe, secure environment across the site including during office events

• Restock fridges and kitchen areas
• Replenish office amenities and supplies
• Assist with light day‑to‑day operational support to keep the offices running smoothly

• Provide professional and welcoming presence for any overnight staff or visitors
• Sign in/out and monitor all after‑hours contractors

• Must be ex‑British Army or Police
• Valid SIA Security Guard License
• Ability to work independently
• Good knowledge of health and safety and emergency procedures
• Two professional referees required

• Medical certification desirable (FPOS/FREC Level
  3)
• Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety qualification.
