Pay: £50,000 to £57,000 per annum

Hours: 45 hours Monday to Friday but its essential you can be flexible at times

We are seeking a highly capable Site Security Manager to oversee the security operations of our client’s London site, a leading US‑based technology company. This role is pivotal in maintaining the safety and security of all employees and visitors, ensuring operational excellence, and upholding the Securitas values of Vigilance, Integrity, and Helpfulness

As the Site Security Manager
, you will lead and develop an onsite security team, manage day‑to‑day security operations, and work closely with the client’s Physical Security Manager to enhance and evolve the overall security programme.

Job Description What you'll be doing:
Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, mentor, and support the onsite Securitas security team.
  • Ensure all officers are briefed, trained, and fully prepared for their duties.
  • Role‑model the core values and culture of both Securitas and the client.
  • Always promote a positive and professional image.
Operational Management
  • Oversee scheduling, Time Gate duties, and holiday planning, manage attendance and support performance management processes.
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with contractual and operational standards.
  • Coordinate security requirements for ad‑hoc onsite events.
  • Oversee escort duties, access control, badging, CX, and new hire security requests.
  • Support initial incident response, ensuring thorough reporting and adherence to required standards.
  • Maintain strong communication with client management and onsite stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with the embedded Physical Security Manager to develop and enhance the security programme.
  • Deliver a service level that consistently meets or exceeds contractual KPIs.
  • Participate in relevant meetings and ensure clear communication and cascading of information.
  • Provide accurate information to support decision‑making and work effectively on own initiative.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:
  • Valid SIA licence (SG/DS).
  • 3–5 years’ leadership/management experience within security, military, or law enforcement sector.
  • Experience in Corporate Security or within the technology sector.
  • Right to work in the UK with a 5‑year checkable history.
  • Willingness to undergo pre‑employment screening, including drug screening and background checks.
  • A people‑centric leader who understands their team and proactively develops skills where required.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Ability to remain professional and composed under pressure or in unusual circumstances.
  • Strong customer service orientation, with a proactive, solutions‑focused approach.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across diverse social and cultural contexts.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office, report writing, email communication, and proposal drafting.
  • Professional demeanour, with the ability to independently contribute to security operations.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities, plans, and schedules.
  • Proven experience in critical decision‑making, risk management, and incident management.
