42 hours per week: 4 on, 4 off working days & nights

3.1 Site Based

We are recruiting a Security Officer to deliver a professional and reliable service at a well‑established global science and manufacturing organisation. In this role, you will help protect employees, visitors, and site assets by following assignment instructions and maintaining the highest standards of integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness. The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring the safe and secure day‑to‑day operations of a busy site environment.

• Monitor CCTV, fire, and intruder alarm systems
• Conduct internal and external patrols
• Prevent unauthorised access to the premises
• Assist with traffic management and parking enforcement
• Carry out routine checks of security equipment
• Manage key holding duties, including locking and unlocking facilities
• Maintain logbooks and records as required
• Issue visitor/contractor passes in accordance with assignment instructions

• A valid SIA licence
• 2+ years of security experience
• CCTV licence desirable but not essential
• Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends
• Right to work in the UK with a 5‑year checkable history
• Must be able to arrive on site by 05:45
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Strong communication skills in English – both written and spoken
