Site Security Supervisor

The Site Security Supervisor will report to the Regional Security Operations Manager and will be responsible for leading security operations at the designated client site, ensuring a safe and secure environment for personnel and assets.
- Manage daily security operations.
- Supervise and support on‑site security teams.
- Conduct patrols, CCTV monitoring and monitoring of access points.
- Handle incidents, complete incident reports and follow the correct escalation process.
- Co‑ordinate emergency response including lock down, alarm responses and evacuation procedures.
- Enforce health and safety procedures for staff, visitors and occupants.
- Use electronic systems for site patrolling and CCTV monitoring.
- Disseminate assignment instructions, risk assessments, standard operating and emergency procedures.
- General day‑to‑day rostering, post management and visits.
- Issue and monitor personal protective equipment and equipment.
- Provide training for staff.
- Coordinate access control and gate outage response.
- Report and monitor faults.
- Coordinate with police – reporting and investigating incidents.
- Provide operational cover as required to support the security team on site.
- Control and monitor access for visitors, contractors and deliveries.
- Manage the car park enforcement procedures and parking arrangements for large events.
- Conduct Return to Work and Absence Follow Up interviews.
- Monitor staff attendance and ensure posts are fully covered.
- Assist management with investigations and discipline processes.
- Take minutes during meetings.
- Conduct staff performance reviews.
- Perform any other related security duties as instructed by Mitie management.
- Site supervisory experience (essential).
- Strong leadership and decision‑making skills in high‑pressure situations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and formal.
- Pro‑active approach to learning and development.
- Ability to manage a varied workload with attention to detail.
- Basic IT knowledge.
- Counter Terrorism (CT) level clearance NPPV L2 or SC clearance.
- Successful vetting checks as per BS7858 and BS 7499.
- Valid SIA licence for guarding/door supervision and CCTV licence.
- Flexibility to work a rolling roster including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
