A prestigious private family estate in the Kingston upon Thames area of South West London is seeking an experienced and professional RST/Estate Security Officer to join its established security team. This is a rare opportunity to join a highly regarded private estate, supporting the safety, security, and smooth operation of a UHNW family's residential environment. The successful candidate will become part of a close-knit, professional team responsible for maintaining the highest standards of security, discretion, and service.
Key Responsibilities- Working on a rotational shift pattern and reporting directly to the Security Supervisor.
- Conducting regular foot and vehicle patrols across the estate and surrounding grounds.
- Managing access control for residents, guests, contractors, and deliveries.
- Operating estate security systems, CCTV, alarms, and communications equipment.
- Maintaining accurate security logs, incident reports, and visitor records.
- Responding to security incidents, emergencies, and welfare concerns in a calm and professional manner.
- Locking and unlocking estate properties and facilities in accordance with operational procedures.
- Supporting estate-wide fire safety procedures, drills, and emergency response plans.
- Key management and controlled key distribution.
- Handling out-of-hours telephone calls and estate enquiries.
- Assisting with principal and guest movements when required.
- Liaising effectively with estate management, household staff, contractors, and external emergency services.
- Previous experience within private estate security, residential security, police, military, or a similar professional security environment.
- Excellent situational awareness and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A calm, professional, and service-focused approach.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Absolute discretion, integrity, and professionalism at all times.
- A flexible approach to working hours and operational requirements.
- Full clean UK driving licence.
- Valid SIA Close Protection Licence.
- FREC 3 qualification.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Ability to pass comprehensive background screening and vetting.
- Previous UHNW residential security experience.
- Military or police background.
- CCTV qualification.
- First Aid at Work qualification.
- Experience working within a private residence or estate environment.
