The New York Times is seeking a Conflict Operations Editor for the International Desk, ideally based in London. You will guide complex war-time reporting, balance safety and journalism, and lead field correspondents in collaboration with security and newsroom leaders.
In this senior newsroom role, you will assess risks, establish rapid deployment of war bureaus, and coordinate with legal, security advisers and editors worldwide to ensure rigorous, responsible reporting while protecting staff.
