Mobile Patrol Officer

Pay: £14.80 per hour
Hours:
42 hours per week (4 on, 4 off working nights, 7pm‑7am)
Grade: 3.1 Site Based
Our Mobile Patrol Officer protects people, property and assets across client sites. Working independently and with a wider team, you will carry out mobile security duties, including patrols, alarm responses, lock and unlock services, vacant property inspections and escort duties, ensuring a safe environment at all times.
Responsibilities- Deliver a range of mobile security services including locks, unlocks, internal and external patrols, alarm responses, vacant property inspections and escort services
- Follow instructions from Team Leaders and collaborate effectively with team members
- Follow site assignment instructions and conduct dynamic risk assessments upon arrival at client sites
- Follow proper escalation processes for incidents, break‑ins, health and safety issues and road traffic accidents
- Secure company assets, including PDAs, and ensure dashcams are fully functional and used throughout the shift
- Escalate incidents, risks, breakdowns and RTAs to the Team Leader, reporting RTAs in line with company policy
- Maintain a professional, polite and helpful attitude towards clients, their staff and Securitas colleagues at all times
- A valid SIA licence
- Full UK manual driving licence
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends
- The right to work in the UK, with a 5‑year checkable history
- Willing to work independently and have a keen eye for security
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken
