About the Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabric Technician to join a leading building services maintenance company, working on a prestigious contract at Heathrow Airport. Key Responsibilities:

Carry out a wide range of fabric maintenance duties, including:
Carpentry
Painting and decorating
Replacing ceiling tiles
Laying carpet tiles
Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works in line with SLAs, KPIs, and CPIs
Identify and immediately report any potentially dangerous situations
Order materials and services using the company ordering system
Update job sheets and records to confirm satisfactory completion of works
Maintain high Health & Safety standards, adhering to HSSE policies at all times
Ensure PPE and tools are kept safe, secure, and in good condition
Work closely with subcontractors, including monitoring works during service visits where required  Requirements:  
Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial maintenance
Strong fabric and carpentry skillset
Polite, professional, and customer-focused approach
Ability to work well as part of a team
Proactive attitude with the ability to seek out work independently
City & Guilds / NVQ in Carpentry, Joinery, Building Construction, or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (desirable but not essential)  Salary & Benefits  
Competitive salary £38,000 – £41,000 depending on experience)
