Welding Instructor Department: WEC Group Training Academy (MTL Rotherham) Salary:£36,000 basic (Neg DOE) Hours of work:
37.5 Hours Mon-Fri 7.30am-4pm Fri-7.30am-1pm.

The WEC Group have been delivering apprenticeships in Welding & fabrication since 2006 and have had major success in the delivery of said apprenticeships. In the role we are recruiting for, you will be delivering the L3 Plate Welder apprenticeship. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Welder/ Fabricator to pass on their skills to our Apprentices and help to Develop the Next Generation of World Class Engineers. Responsibilities:
Assist delivering the Level 3 Plate Welder standard to the Apprentices. Ensuring we have a Smooth onboarding process for all new apprentices instruct and train apprentices in several Welding & fabrication techniques Assess Apprentices progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate skill development and improvement You will assist with monitoring and maintaining workshop standards with respect. Maintain training facilities and equipment in line with Health & Safety policies to ensure optimal functionality and safety for our apprentices

What We Are Looking For :
Strong & Competent Welder/Fabricator MIG & TIG You will be required to pass an Enhanced DBS check, of which the company will pay. Ability to work effectively and use own initiative Ability to lead and manage and train others to achieve desired results Fully conversant with welding, fabrication and ability to read engineering drawings.
