Refrigeration Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer to join their growing team. This role will primarily focus on installation work, with additional involvement in service and maintenance when required.

The Role

* Installation of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment

* Pipework, electrical wiring, and condensate drains

* Occasional installation of cold-room panels

Our client installs and works on a wide range of systems, including:

* Compressor and condensing unit systems (Bitzer, Copeland, Danfoss, JE & Hall)

* Water chillers

* Blast chillers and freezers

* Split, multi-system and VRF air conditioning

* Walk-in cold rooms

* Refrigeration and air conditioning for food factories, logistics facilities, hotels, and restaurants

Salary & Overtime

* Hourly rate: £40,000 - £45,000, depending on experience

* Door-to-door pay structure

* Overtime (over 8 hours per day) paid at 1.5x

* Saturday overtime paid at 1.5x

* Sunday overtime paid at 2.0x

* Weekly or monthly pay available

* Contracted hours: 08:30 – 17:00

* Engineers may be required to start earlier to avoid traffic

Requirements

Engineers must supply their own:

* Comprehensive hand tools

* Cordless drills

* Clean, full UK driving licence

* Valid F-Gas certification (essential)

* Additional training certificates advantageous
