We are looking for a permanent Youth Justice Officer who can flourish delivering direct support in an inclusive, trauma‑informed environment. Educated to a degree level and with substantial experience of supporting vulnerable young people, you will be skilled in engaging and motivating young people, assessing and managing vulnerability and risk. You will benefit from supportive, accessible managers to develop your knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities & Person Specification- Provide direct support to vulnerable young people within the Youth Justice Service.
- Engage and motivate young people in a trauma‑informed, restorative setting.
- Assess and manage vulnerability and risk.
- Collaborate with other services and community agencies to deliver holistic support.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all statutory requirements.
- Degree level education.
- Substantial experience supporting vulnerable young people.
- Strong ability to engage and motivate young people.
- Knowledge of trauma‑informed and restorative practice.
- Effective risk assessment and management skills.
