Position: Behaviour Mentor (Permanent, Temporary)
Behaviour Mentor – Tower Hamlets – £100–£120 a day (depending on experience) – Full Time – Immediate Start

* Behaviour Mentor – Previous experience supporting pupils with SEMH or challenging behaviour required

* Behaviour Mentor – Experience working within an SEN or alternative provision desirable

* Behaviour Mentor – Must be confident with de-escalation and positive behaviour strategies

* Behaviour Mentor – Required full time ASAP

The Role – Behaviour Mentor

Seeking a resilient and proactive Behaviour Mentor to support pupils aged 5–16 with autism, SEMH and associated complex needs. You will work on a 1:1 and small-group basis, implementing behaviour support plans, promoting emotional regulation and helping pupils re-engage with learning. The role involves using restorative approaches, consistent routines and positive reinforcement strategies to maintain a safe, structured and supportive environment where pupils can make meaningful progress.

This specialist provision is located in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets and is within walking distance of a nearby London Underground station. The school supports pupils with autism and additional complex needs through a structured, therapeutic and highly personalised approach to learning. The school was judged ‘Good’ at its most recent Ofsted inspection in 2023.
