Youth Outreach Manager

Want to launch and shape a brand-new youth programme from day one?

This is an opportunity to play a leading role in a new pilot supporting young people aged 18–25 who are out of work due to health-related barriers. You’ll join a nationally recognised, award-winning UK charity – known for being a great employer – and take ownership of delivering and shaping the local approach.

• Lead a new service and influence how it runs

This role begins around 1st April, giving you time to help set the programme up before it goes live in July. You’ll lead a team of 2 and hold a small caseload (around 10 clients). The focus is helping young people build confidence, resilience and readiness to return to work through structured 1:1 support using a CBT-informed framework (training available). The role is community-based – working from libraries, community centres, local authority offices and partner locations rather than a fixed office.

• Experience supporting vulnerable individuals to build confidence and achieve goals

This is a 12-month pilot contract. While extension cannot be guaranteed, the charity has a strong presence in West London and internal progression opportunities are a possibility.
