Overview
Central Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Progression Coach to work in the Haringey area at a 24/7 supported accommodation service that provides support to adults with complex needs who have experienced or are at risk of homelessness.
Contract and hours- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday - Sunday (rota basis)
- Shifts:
08:00 - 16:00, 08:00 - 17:00, 14:30 - 22:30 and 15:30 - 22:20 (requirement to work every other weekend) - Temporary: approximately 2-3 months
- £15.88 per hour (£14.17 per hour, with £1.71 holiday pay)
- Manage a caseload of 4 key clients
- Conduct regular keywork and personalised support plans
- Complete ongoing risk and needs assessments
- Work within a psychologically informed environment
- Support clients with complex needs and challenging behaviour
- Work in partnership with statutory and multi-agency teams
- Support tenancy sustainment and positive move-on
- Promote client involvement and community engagement
- Support access to education, training, employment, and volunteering
- Ensure client safety and follow safeguarding and emergency procedures
- Complete incident reports as required
- Experience supporting clients with mental health and/or substance misuse needs
- Caseload management, support planning, and risk/needs assessments
- Ability to work with challenging behaviour
- Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships
- Experience working with multi-agency and statutory teams
- Confidence working in a psychologically informed environment
- Clear understanding of safeguarding procedures
- Strong understanding of confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Effective communication across diverse backgrounds
- Current valid right to work in the UK
- Minimum 12 months' of paid experience in a front line social care role within the last 3 years* (unless recruitment criteria states otherwise)
- A fully enhanced DBS either registered on the DBS update service or issued within the last 12 months, or willingness to apply for one through Central (at a cost of £60)
- Employment or education history to cover the last 5 years which can be verified through the referencing process
