Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Team Manager to join the Leaving Care / LAC Team for London Borough of Sutton.

Team Manager - Leaving Care / LAC Team - £45.20 p/h Umb

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Lead, manage, and supervise a team of Social Workers and Personal Advisers supporting Looked After Children and Care Leavers.

* Oversee caseload allocation and ensure statutory responsibilities for LAC and Leaving Care are met within required timescales.

* Ensure high-quality pathway planning for Care Leavers in line with legislative requirements.

* Monitor performance, quality assurance, and compliance with statutory guidance and local procedures.

* Provide regular supervision, performance management, and professional development support to team members.

* Oversee care planning, permanency planning, and transition to adulthood arrangements.

* Attend and contribute to strategy meetings, care reviews, and corporate parenting forums.

* Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to secure education, employment, training, and accommodation outcomes for young people.

* Ensure accurate and timely case recording and reporting in accordance with statutory frameworks.

Working Pattern:

* Hybrid working

Pay Rate:
* £45.20 per hour Umbrella

Essential Requirements:

* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent

* Minimum 3 years' post-qualifying experience within children's social care

* Management or supervisory experience within LAC and/or Leaving Care services

* Social Work England Registration

* Strong knowledge of Children Act 1989, Leaving Care legislation, and corporate parenting responsibilities
