We are seeking a Criminal Justice Recovery Worker to join our dynamic team in Camberwell Green, London. This six‑month locum position involves enabling individuals in contact with the criminal justice system to recover from drug and alcohol dependency, while working full time on an hourly rate of £22.00. As part of this important role, you will be providing vital support to a community in need.

- Deliver structured key work sessions to individuals in contact with the criminal justice system, supporting their recovery from drug and alcohol dependency.
- Complete comprehensive assessments, risk assessments, and recovery plans in alignment with CGL and commissioner frameworks.
- Collaborate effectively with probation practitioners, courts, police custody suites, and prison in‑reach teams to ensure seamless continuity of care.
- Facilitate individuals' access to psychosocial interventions, providing harm reduction advice, needle exchange services, and substitute prescribing pathways.
Possess an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent, or demonstrate a willingness to work towards achieving it. Hold relevant training in substance misuse or criminal justice interventions.
Registration and ComplianceMaintain a sound understanding of safeguarding legislation, especially the Care Act 2014. Demonstrate knowledge of data protection requirements (GDPR) and information governance within a case management setting.
ExperienceBring experience working within substance misuse services, probation, prisons, or community safety settings. Show a proven track record of supporting individuals with multiple and complex needs. Possess experience delivering recovery‑based or rehabilitative interventions within a structured framework.
