Overview
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Social Workers to join our All Age Disability (AAD) team, delivering vital services to children and young adults aged 0-25 with learning disabilities and other complex needs. The role includes Care Act and Children and Families assessments, producing outcome-focused support plans and delivering interventions that safeguard and empower children and young adults. The 0-25 AAD model supports practice across both adult and children’s legislation with small, supportive teams, manageable caseloads, comprehensive training, reflective group supervision, clinical advice and administrative support.
The role promotes independence, positive outcomes and the effective use of assistive technology.
- Carry out Care Act and Children and Families assessments.
- Produce outcome-focused support plans.
- Deliver interventions that safeguard and empower children and young adults with learning disabilities and other complex needs.
- Work within a strength-based model to promote independence and positive outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide clinical advice as needed.
- Qualified and registered Social Worker with Social Work England.
- Relevant post-ASYE year experience in social work practice; ideally over 3 years in a statutory service.
- Significant court and safeguarding experience with an understanding of legal deadlines and follow-up requirements.
- Commitment to working in a diverse community, applying a strength-based approach that centers individuals and families.

- This is a permanent position.
- Working hours:
36 per week, Monday to Friday. - An enhanced DBS check is required.
- Location base: 160 Tooley Street SE1 2QH
. - There are shift enhancements for out of hours and weekend working.
