Children's Team Manager - Safeguarding

Our Client, Bolton Council, is seeking a Team Manager to join their Children's Safeguarding Team. Fantastic payrate of up to £45 per hour! Providing supervision, support, and direction to social workers. Managing safeguarding referrals and ensuring timely risk assessments. Overseeing child or adult protection investigations. Making decisions on complex and high-risk cases. Ensuring compliance with safeguarding legislation, policies, and procedures. Chairing or contributing to strategy meetings, case conferences, and reviews. Monitoring caseloads, performance, and quality of practice. Supporting staff development, training, and wellbeing.

Working with partner agencies such as police, health services, education, and housing. Maintaining accurate records and ensuring reports are completed to required standards. Escalating safeguarding concerns and managing risk appropriately. Contributing to audits, inspections, and service improvement initiatives. Requirements of this role:
Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England. Must have a Social Work qualification (Diploma in social work, social work degree or equivalent) Must have minimum of 3 years experience working as a Qualified social worker in a similar team
