About the role

Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others? We’re looking for caring, motivated individuals to join our team at Tall Trees Day Services, part of Manx Care’s Adult Learning Disability Service. As a Day Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting people with a range of complex needs to live as independently and meaningfully as possible.

Your work will uphold personalisation, dignity, choice, and inclusion - core principles of the ALDS framework.

What you’ll do
  • Provide person‑centred support with daily living activities, including toileting and dietary needs—always promoting dignity, empathy, and respect.
  • Work in partnership with service users to ensure each individual has an up‑to‑date, personalised support plan with clear risk assessments and achievable outcomes.
  • Promote independence and inclusion, helping each person develop valued social roles and take an active place within their community.
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive team culture focused on wellbeing, empowerment, and high‑quality care.
