This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinician with excellent organisation and leadership skills to join Southwark Child & Family Team as the Clinical Service Lead.
The Child & Family Team is an under 12s service offering assessments and treatment for complex emotional and mental health needs including ADHD. The Clinical Service Lead will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. They will provide highly specialist clinical work within the team and operational management covering the planning, directing and management of the service. The successful candidate will be assertive, be able to work well within a team and able to work effectively with complex professional interagency networks. We are seeking a candidate who feels passionate and committed to providing a high quality service for children and young people who are facing significant challenges.

  • To take day to day operational management responsibility in the planning, directing and management of the Child & Family CAMHS team.
  • The post holder will ensure that service access and delivery is efficient, effective, evidence based, needs led, as well as service user and carer focused.
  • The post holder will provide clear leadership, in partnership with the Service Manager to ensure access to timely treatment and intervention by well led and motivated staff that contributes to promoting safety and achievement for all children and young people.
