Liquid Personnel are proud to be supporting Haringey Council in recruiting Social Workers to join their Safeguarding & Support and Court Service on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an Outstanding-rated Children's Service , working within a supportive and well-established safeguarding service committed to delivering positive outcomes for children and families. You will hold a varied caseload involving Child in Need, Child Protection and Court work, supporting children and families through significant periods of change and intervention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of children subject to Child in Need and Child Protection plans
  • Undertake statutory safeguarding assessments, plans and interventions to ensure children's safety and wellbeing
  • Complete work relating to pre-proceedings, care proceedings and public law outline processes
  • Prepare high-quality reports and assessments for court proceedings
For This Role You Will Need
  • A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree, CQSW, CSS or equivalent)
  • Current registration with Social Work England
  • A minimum of 12 months post-qualified experience, ideally within safeguarding, child protection or court work
  • Experience managing complex caseloads and working within statutory children's services
