- Hold a caseload of up to 25 participants, or closer to 20 when delivering SEQF
- Deliver person-centred, strengths-based, non-judgemental employment support using IPS and/or SEQF
- Complete and update Vocational Profiles and Vocational Action Plans
- Support participants through engagement, assessment, job search, placement, coaching and follow-along support for up to 12 months
- Provide time-unlimited individualised in-work support and liaise with employers
- Support participants interested in self-employment and signpost to specialist advice
- Work primarily in community locations across Southwark, including participant homes, outreach venues and partner sites
- Build referral relationships with community organisations, faith groups, housing providers, family hubs, children's centres, and health and social care services
- Represent Beam at community events, drop-ins and partner meetings
- Generate referrals through community outreach and engagement
- Build relationships with local employers and identify suitable, sustainable job opportunities
- Support employers with reasonable adjustments, job carving and inclusive recruitment
- Maintain employer contact and a diverse employer and job portfolio
- Maintain accurate records in Beam's systems and the Southwark Connect to Work CRM (Enspirio)
- Work within IPS and/or SEQF fidelity standards and support internal and DWP fidelity reviews
- Contribute to KPIs including job starts, first earnings and sustained job outcomes
- Follow disclosure, safeguarding and data-sharing policies
- Collaborate with the Team Leader, Southwark Connect to Work team, Southwark Council, Central London Forward, Southwark Works and delivery partners
- Participate in supervision, team meetings and training
- Contribute Beam's social value commitments in Southwark
- Experience in a client-facing support, coaching, or employment-related role
- Ability to build genuine, trusting relationships with participants from diverse backgrounds, including people with disabilities, health conditions and complex or multiple disadvantage
- Confidence and skill in building relationships with employers
- Comfortable working independently and flexibly across multiple community locations
- Strong organisational skills, able to manage a caseload of up to 25 people and keep accurate records
- Competent using IT and case management/CRM systems
- Commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion and a strengths-based, non-judgemental approach
- Able to commute to Southwark (Walworth Road) at least three days a week
- Experience delivering Individual Placement and Support (IPS) and/or Supported Employment Quality Framework (SEQF) desirable
- Understanding of the DWP welfare-to-work or supported employment sector desirable
- Experience supporting people with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, autism or other complex needs into employment desirable
- Existing networks within Southwark's voluntary, community and faith sector desirable
- Southwark resident desirable
- Able to complete a DBS check
- Must have or be able to obtain the right to work in the UK
